No obstante, advirti\u00f3 que durante a\u00f1os la ciudad ha sido altamente vulnerable debido a su dependencia del r\u00edo Combeima.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\\\"MsoNormal\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: \\'Arial\\',sans-serif;\\\">\u201cEl 85% del agua que consumen nuestros m\u00e1s de 180 mil suscriptores proviene de esta \u00fanica fuente, lo que nos obliga a actuar con responsabilidad y visi\u00f3n\u201d, indic\u00f3 la gerente del IBAL.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\\\"MsoNormal\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: \\'Arial\\',sans-serif;\\\">Por ello, destac\u00f3 como hitos recientes la culminaci\u00f3n del Segundo Acueducto, la entrada en operaci\u00f3n de la planta de tratamiento de Boquer\u00f3n y la obtenci\u00f3n de la concesi\u00f3n, con sus cuatro permisos, de la quebrada Coraz\u00f3n, una fuente alterna que garantizar\u00e1 continuidad y cobertura del servicio, incluso ante eventualidades clim\u00e1ticas o t\u00e9cnicas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\\\"MsoNormal\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: \\'Arial\\',sans-serif;\\\">Asimismo, hizo un llamado a reconocer que el acceso equitativo al agua sigue siendo una deuda en muchas regiones del pa\u00eds, y enfatiz\u00f3 que desde el IBAL se trabaja con compromiso t\u00e9cnico y social para reducir esa brecha.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\\\"MsoNormal\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: \\'Arial\\',sans-serif;\\\">\u201cColombia es rica en agua, pero con sed de inversi\u00f3n. Y esa riqueza precisamente no llega a todos los hogares colombianos por la variabilidad clim\u00e1tica, por todos los aspectos que se vienen generando con el crecimiento demogr\u00e1fico.
